Trust Your Instincts
If something feels wrong, it probably is. Don't proceed with a job if you feel unsafe.
Report Suspicious Activity
Use the report feature if you encounter scams, harassment, or suspicious behavior.
Before Hiring
- Review the worker's profile, ratings, and past reviews carefully
- Look for verified badges and completed jobs
- Ask for references or examples of previous work
- Get a clear quote and scope of work in writing
- Verify the worker's identity when you meet
During the Job
- Be present while work is being done in your home
- Don't leave workers alone with valuables
- If you feel uncomfortable, ask them to leave
- Take photos of work progress for your records
Payment Safety
- Only pay after work is completed to your satisfaction
- Never send money before meeting in person
- Agree on payment method before work starts
- Get a receipt for all payments
- Don't pay more than agreed upon without good reason
Before Accepting a Job
- Review the client's profile and past reviews
- Ask detailed questions about the job scope
- Get the job location and verify it's legitimate
- Agree on payment terms upfront
- Trust your instincts about the client
At the Job Site
- Share your location with someone you trust
- Bring your own tools and equipment
- If the site feels unsafe, leave immediately
- Don't accept food or drinks you didn't bring
- Keep your phone charged and accessible
Getting Paid Safely
- Agree on payment method before starting work
- Get partial payment upfront for large jobs
- Don't leave until you're paid
- Provide receipts for all payments received
- Report clients who refuse to pay after work is done

- Someone asks you to pay or communicate outside the platform immediately
- Request for upfront payment before any work is done (for large amounts)
- Pressure to make quick decisions without time to think
- Prices that seem too good to be true
- Profile with no reviews or verification
- Reluctance to meet in person or video call first
- Requests for personal financial information
- Job listings that are vague or don't make sense
- Profile Verification: Workers must verify their location with photo proof
- Review System: Transparent ratings and reviews for all users
- In-App Messaging: Secure communication without sharing personal contact info
- Report & Block: Tools to report suspicious users and block unwanted contact
- Admin Moderation: Our team reviews reports and takes action against violators
